The ELT406 with GPS combines emergency beacon technology with an internal GPS unit that is approved for general aviation use. When in flight, the unit updates its location automatically every 1 second.

The ELT406 with GPS combines emergency beacon technology with an internal GPS unit that is approved for general aviation use. When in flight, the unit updates its location automatically every 1 second. When activated, the unit emits the standard 406 MHz emergency signal while sending its GPS position to the Cospas-Sarsat satellites via a 5 watt signal burst every signal burst every 50 seconds with accuracy of less than 100 meters.


This ELT406 (Edmo# 406GPS) includes the 406AF transmitter, low speed antenna with installation hardware, mounting tray, panel mounting switch with internal buzzer, 6 feet RG-58 cable, DB9 hood, BD15 male plug, DB15 hood, and self test card.
