The CX-3 Flight Computer makes flight planning simple by taking the guess work out of the equation. Fast, versatile, and easy to use, this flight computer delivers accurate results quickly and efficiently. It may also be used when taking the FAA and Canadian pilot, mechanic, and dispatcher knowledge exams. The menu is organized to reflect the order in which a flight is planned and executed resulting in a natural flow from one function to the next with minimum key strokes. The CX-3 can perform multiple aviation functions including those related to time, speed, distance, heading, wind, fuel, altitude, cloud base, standard atmosphere, glide, climb and descent, and weight and balance; also, a holding pattern function is available to help to determine the entry method and holding details. Built into the computer is a calculator, clock, timer, stopwatch, as well as settings for lighting, backlighting, themes, scrolling speed, and time zone. This sleek and ergonomic design allows for easy transport, and the protective cover conveniently snaps onto the rear during use. A no-slip strip prevents the computer from sliding on smooth surfaces. Users can switch from standard view to night or daylight views. A backlighting feature controls the brightness and intensity of the screen while the buttons on the keypad light up during dusk and night modes. A favorites feature provides quick access to the most frequently used functions, and pilots can save an aircraft profile to store numbers specific to an aircraft.
